Lies We Live EXPOSED Finding Truth is a triumphant journey of one person’s hobby that evolved into a life-altering passion. After his sister’s death in 2021, Frank Genus was plunged into a three-year-long deep depression. Despite the labels and treatments prescribed by psychiatrists and therapists, Frank found no relief. However, through the lens of his camera, a new world of beauty and elegance unfolded before him, leading him to discover the beauty within himself and his life. This transformation through photography is a testament to its powerful and inspiring nature.

Kathy, his wife, would often accompany her husband on his photographic jaunts. She noticed an energy in him she hadn’t experienced before. Frequently, she would ask Frank what he was doing and feeling as he was searching for the perfect shot. His voice would become a bit louder. He would reach for words that were teeming with positivity and wonder, and through him, she realized this was not only photography; it was a way to live into freedom.

EXPOSED is a compelling story filled with heartache and sadness that finds its way to the transformation of acceptance.  Everything in their life had come to a standstill during Frank’s depression.  The unintentional pause became a deliberate awareness that opened the doorway for something new. Together, Kathy and Frank chose to walk through the door to face the nitty gritty of healing the many stories of their past that were the lies they told themselves.  EXPOSED tells the reader about two people who found a desire for truth and authenticity through passion.
