Anyone Can Create Using The Zentangle Method

From a young age, I have always been drawn to art. I am not an artist and have never before created a project with pen, paper, and color. My specialty was crafts. I could follow the directions to make a craft, that was it.

Once I retired from my position at the church, I wondered what I would fill my days with. The answer was easy! It would be lots and lots of art. I began with watercolor. I adore watercolor. However, my patience wasn’t up to the learning curve. One day, I stumbled across Zentangle, and from the first line, I was in utter awe and wonder of what I could now create.

The more I played with Zentangle, the more I realized that beneath the sheer joy I was experiencing was a mindfulness journey. My brain was slowing down, noticing my heart. I could feel my heart expanding. I witnessed one line at a time become something extraordinary. I began to see my meditative practice improve exponentially, and everything in my life began to shift. It was then that I knew I would become a Certified Zentangle Teacher and take this method to the world.

Although you may not think you are an artist, Zentangle proves over and over again that we all have an inner creator who is waiting to come out and play. During my classes, each student will be invited to witness for themselves the awesomeness of living as we create together.

All materials needed to begin will be provided. Students may register for a block of four classes at a time. Classes are in person, with a maximum of 8-10 students. Children must have an adult who will share the experience alongside them.
